A photographer is defined as “a person who takes photographs”. I define photographer as someone who captures the emotion of a scene: the expectation of welcoming a new life into this world; the fragility and innocence of a newborn; a laughing child; a playful puppy! A photographer is someone who captures the feeling of love and promise of a newly engaged couple, or the feeling of adoration and devotion of new parents. I believe a photographer can do all these things, and provide you with a permanent reminder of all the amazing memories that are experienced in life. To all of those who have let me photograph your life’s experiences, thank you. I am a better person because of it. And to all of you who are interested in a session I am honored.

    Two Families Become One...

I got a call a few weeks back from a very good friend of mine saying that her Dad wanted to hire me to photograph their family, their NEW family!!!! I was so excited to her that my wonderful friend Katie's Dad had proposed to his sweet Fiance, officially announcing to the world that they wanted to unite their two families. Pat and Patti decided to have a family vacation out at Amelia Island to celebrate their engagement as well as to give all the girls time to hang out and bond together for a week. I love that both Pat and Patti are bringing two beautiful ladies into their new family with them. I had so much fun photographing the D. family and all the "D." girls. Now theres lots of sisters ,new and old, and lots and lots of creating memories together! D. Family! I cannot wait to watch all the love that you all bring to each other. I am so happy that you all are turing two families into one...

Here's a little out take. I told the girls to head out into the water, that I wanted to get a shot of them with all the water around. Knowing full well that this would happen. I secretly just wanted to set up a little bonding moment, that I could capture. I wasn't disappointed ;-)
